Boldly driving leadership transformation—putting people first, inspiring teams, and building thriving workplaces

Meet Tre Cabrera, MRP, MSW

Tre Cabrera is the Founder and CEO of Cabrera Advisory Group, LLC, a Black woman–owned management consulting firm based in Annapolis, Maryland. She is a strategist, culture-builder, and transformational leadership partner to executive teams navigating complexity, high-stakes decisions, and organizational change.

With more than 20 years of experience across nonprofit, public, and philanthropic sectors, Tre brings deep expertise in organizational leadership, systems strategy, educational equity, community practice, and public policy. Leaders engage her when clarity, alignment, and decisive action are required—and when the cost of misalignment is too high to ignore.

Tre works closely with executive teams and boards to surface critical truths, align decision-making, and translate insight into action—helping leaders think rigorously, decide strategically, and lead at the level their mission demands.

Energetic Belonging™ — Leading Without Shape-Shifting

Energetic Belonging™ is Tre Cabrera’s signature leadership framework. It extends traditional belonging frameworks by naming what is often unspoken: the energy cost of belonging in systems not designed to hold people fully.

Her belief is clear: belonging is not sustained by individual resilience alone—it requires energetically honest systems.

When leaders must shape-shift, self-protect, or perform to belong, culture becomes extractive. Over time, this erodes trust, clarity, and leadership sustainability.

Through Energetic Belonging™, Tre partners with senior leaders and executive teams to examine how identity, energy, power, and culture intersect—and to redesign leadership practices and systems so people can lead without depletion. This framework anchors her executive coaching, keynote speaking, and leadership experiences.
